On 15 January, at the KNHS (Royal Dutch Equestrian Federation) Annual Awards in the auditorium of Rabobank Nederland much attention was called to the World Four-in-Hand Driving Championship 2008.
For the item ‘cap on, cap off’ in the evening programme, 400 specially made Championship caps were handed out so that the guests could participate in the game. The brand new promotion film for the Championships had its debut and was received with rapture by all those present.
At the end of the evening, all guests received a nice Driving Championship package consisting of articles from the Driving Championship location The Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt and Championship souvenirs such as pins and stickers. Also everybody received a Driving Championship umbrella which turned out to be just the thing considering the dreadful weather that evening!
