The WDC that will take place from 3 to 7 September in Beesd has an additional sponsor along with the Rabobank and GMB. The Belgian beer brand PALM has joined this Dutch top event as sponsor and as exclusive beer partner.
When one thinks of PALM beer, one immediately thinks of Belgian Draught Horses. The well-known beer brand of our southern neighbours have used the draught horse in their logo and TV commercials for years. PALM have put their shoulders behind the protection of the Belgian Draught Horse and also behind Carriage Driving sport. Since 1998, PALM has supported the Power Horse Competition- a special competition for the harnessing of draught horses. The sponsoring of the WDC in Beesd is in line with PALM’s strategy. This large-scale event in the grounds of the country estate Mariënwaerdt is unique of its type for both public and participants. The welcoming atmosphere, the healthy competition and the pure and natural surroundings are values that PALM endorse.
In the main grounds at the WDC, a delightful PALM pavilion will be set up where all are welcome to enjoy the wonderful sport of carriage driving and a PALM beer. Moreover, the powerful draught horses from the PALM stud will give various demonstrations during the event.
