The ticket sale of the FEI World Driving Championship four-in-hand 2008 starts on Thursday, 1st of February. From Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 September 2008, the Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt- a beautiful and grand country estate in the city of Beesd in the The Netherlands- will be the backdrop for the eighteenth edition of the FEI World Championship four-in-hand driving, together with the annual Country Estate Fair.
The World Championship starts on Wednesday 3 September with the elegance competition (presentation). Thursday 4 and Friday 4 September are reserved for the dressage competition, followed by the marathon, the most spectacular part of the combined driving event, on Saturday 5 September. On Sunday 6 September the ever-exciting final obstacle driving competition will decide who will win the individual and team medals. Several attractive and spectacular shows will complete the programme. Entrance tickets for the World Championship also include admission to the Country Estate Fair, which will be held adjacent on the site of the Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt.
