Do you want to be a sponsor of the FEI World Championship Four-In-Hand 2008?

From 3 to 7 September 2008, the FEI World Championship Four-In-Hand will take place at the Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt. This prestigeous event has taken place in the Netherlands four times before: three times at Paleis ’t Loo in Apeldoorn and for the last time in 1994 at the World Equestrian Games in The Hague. Each time the competition was wonderful with a great number of visitors and a great deal of coverage by television and other media.

The Netherlands has a rich history of carriage driving sport. With the double world champion Tjeerd Velstra (1982 and 1986), the triple world champion IJsbrand Chardon (1988, 1992 and 2002) and countless other world class team medals, internationally speaking The Netherlands is the leading light of the sporting top of four-in-hand.

In 2008, the Stichting WK Vierspannen (The World Championships Four-in-Hand Foundation) is expecting 100.000 visitors during the five days. The championship is covered world wide on television. Compared to former championships, the arrangements for the hospitality facilities, the ambiance and the level of service has been even further improved and will provide an atmosphere and quality fitting for this world class event. This is enhanced by the idyllic setting and accommodation of the Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt in Beesd (extremely accessible via the A2). What is more, running concurrently and in cooperation with the World Championships Four-in-Hand, the annual Country Fair at the Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt will take place. This fair alone attracts 50,000 visitors every year.

Conclusion, this can be called an extremely exceptional and exclusive event.
